Hollywood is the first place we lived when Don and I moved to Florida and I love the Hollywood libraries. I'll be speaking at the Stirling Road Branch about CHECKED OUT, my new Dead-End Job mystery set at a library, and my experiences as a volunteer shelver. I'll also tell you why libraries are like Las Vegas.

Eight Florida mystery authors will sign our books and discuss modern publishing to benefit the historic Apollo School in Hobe Sound. The bestselling authors are Miriam Auerbach, Gregg Brickman, Ali Brandon, Sharon Menear, Randy Ralws, Deborah Sharp, Joanna Campbell Slan, and me. The Mission-style Apollo School, built in 1924, is on the National Registry of Historic Places. Murder on the Beach Bookshop will sell our novels.
